PRIMA
Goals of the project
The main goal of the PRIMA project is to provide directions for symbiotic technical and regulatory mechanisms for supporting ICT related privacy, which are founded in the dynamic, dialectic, and cultural-dependent properties of privacy. Targeting the ICT research community and industry, these directions will be articulated as descriptions of ICT use illustrating specific challenges of privacy in relation to emerging ICT, technical proof of concepts in the form of mock-ups and prototypes, and analyses of regulatory implications. This goal will be achieved by forming an inter-disciplinary Nordic network of experts, which considers the multifaceted problem from different perspectives. The pressing question of the PRIMA project is how to address this challenge not only on a theoretical level but to seek and find concrete means to successfully guide and manage privacy in the context of future ICT.
